Easy, Tasty, and Nutrious Homemade Chicken Bone Broth

Easy, Tasty, and Nutrious Homemade Chicken Bone Broth

One of the easiest and best ways to improve your health is to include bone broth into your diet. You can do this by drinking it like a hot drink, or my preferred method is to use bone broth in place of water in all my recipes. You can cook your rice in it, make goulash with it, or add it as the base in any soup. It adds amazing flavor and nutrients like protein, collagen and so many vitamins and minerals.

Here is how I make Chicken broth with our CJW Green Grass Chicken Backs.

Ingredients

1 pack of CJW Chicken Backs

2 Onions

2 Carrots

1 Celery

1 Whole Garlic

Water

Optional seasonings of salt, oregano, parsley, and basil.

Instructions

Add all the ingredients to as big a pot you have, a minimum of a 4quart pot.

Add just enough water to cover all the ingredients.

Turn the stove on med-high until it begins to boil.

Reduce the heat to med-low and allow it to simmer for 2hrs until the meat falls off the bones.

Then you pour into a strainer with a bowl beneath to sift out the bones and vegetables.

Finally, you put the broth in the fridge to use in the next week or freeze to use later!

It really is that simple and you won’t regret the flavor or health benefits that you gain from making your own broth!
